Dan Dixon, 36 years old, was born and raised in Millville and is a graduate of Millville Senior High School. He studied Physical Education at Glassboro State College and is a certified personal trainer. He started studying Judo at the age of 30 and currently holds a second degree Brown belt with the United States Judo Association. He is also a certified Judo instructor with the United States Judo Association Dan currently studies Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu under Rickson Gracie Black belt, Joe Diamond. Dan currently holds a blue belt under Joe Diamond, however he regularly competes at the purple belt level in grappling competitions. He is ranked #2 in his weight class in the United States at the purple belt level in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. He has extensive coaching experience, having coached Basketball and Volleyball at the High School Varsity level. He has coached multiple Judo and Jiu-Jitsu players to top three placings in various regional level competitions.
