Joe Diamond is the founder of the Thai-jitsu Total Defense system. He is a US Army Certified Level 3 Combatives Instructor. He is a Black Belt in Gracie Jiu-jitsu under 6 th degree Black Belt Professor Luiz Palhares and Master Rickson Gracie. Shihan Diamond is a 10 year Officially Certified Instructor and Representative of The Rickson Gracie International Jiu-jitsu Association. He has trained extensively and regularly with Rickson Gracie, Royler Gracie, and Professor Luiz Palhares at the Rickson Gracie Jiu-jitsu Center in Los Angeles, California since 1990.
